April/May Favorites

I begun writing this post in April, safe to say I've been procrastinating with other bits such as college and that as it is now the end of May.... Whoops! 

A little discovery I made in April thanks to a friend is The Body Shops Watermelon Pasteque which I picked up for just £1!! However my love for the product was short lived as I found out that it was being discontinued.. I'm going to look out for other watermelon body lotions as the smell of this is just heavenly! My skin absorbs the lotion quickly and leaves no sticky residue behind making it an easy application. It has left my skin so smooth and soft - I definitely recommend buying out all the last bottles from your local Body Shop if they haven't gone already!

I'm a massive fan of Rimmel so I recently tried the Wake Me Up foundation and I don't know what took me so long to give it a shot as I have heard nothing but good things, I must say I was very impressed with it. It has a subtle shimmer giving you a radiant and soft glow with good coverage with little use of the foundation making it non-heavy on your skin, it also lasts the whole day on your face - which is perfect if you're like me and don't stop to top up make up whilst you are out and about. The foundation also has SPF 15 - which is perfect for summer approaching upon us such as up coming festivals. I would definitely recommend this foundation to others!

I am one of those people who always have their nails done, if it is by myself or at a Nail Bar. However, Rita Ora has just brought out a line of colours for Rimmel and I must say they are flawless! I love each and every colour, I have purchased Lose Your Lingerie, Let's Get Nude and Pillow Talk so far - they all have sex related names which gives me a giggle #mature AND they're a part of Rimmel's 60 Seconds line meaning they dry really quickly!!  Perfect all round in my eyes.

Next up is the Barry M Eyebrow Kit. I have been using Rimmel's Eyebrow Pencil for absolutely ages now but quite a view drugstore brands have been jumping on eyebrow kits so I thought I would give it a try. It comes with a double ended brush, one end to use with the wax and the other end has a slanted edge making it easier to define your brow, then there's also a small pair of tweezers. Now I have never used any other eyebrow kits so I don't have much to compare to however it was a tonne easier to apply than eyebrow pencils - I've been using this hand in hand with my pencils when doing my 'brows.

I am raving about coconut hair products at the moment, Coconut is literally my hero! I love the smell and taste of it, and I recently found out the Godly things it can do for your hair!!!
So I bought a coconut oil spray (by OGX) and the new Ultimate Blends shampoo and conditioner range (by Garnier). I am 100% guilty for treating my hair badly with heat styling and colouring, however after using these products my hair feels and smells absolutely gorgeous if like me you treat your hair badly you should definitely buy these products to treat yourself, you can feel results from the first use!!! I actually got 2 bottles of both the Shampoo and Conditioner so I could leave one set at mine and the other set at my boyfriends so my hair can get the benefits of coconut all the time, they are brilliant and is so cheap for such a good product. They were half price as a starting deal so go grab them!!
